GreatWay Roofing installed around 2,500 sq. feet of new lightweight concrete flat tile roof on my foot home March 25-28, 2024. I got four quotes and GreatWay was priced in the middle, (tied for second and third) with one company being much higher and one company a slight amount lower. This does not include one roofer who never even showed up and one that looked and smelled like he slept in a garbage truck, and I declined to ask him for a quote.GreatWay's salesman, Brandon, was very good. I had serious concerns about tile quality and suitability as the "50-year Guaranteed" roof they were removing had disintegrated in less than 20 years and new roofs aren't inexpensive. Brandon answered the questions he could, and then got me the tile manufacturer's number and rep's name so I could get more facts on the product. That impressed me. From there, they showed up on the date they promised, amazing during the heavy rains we have had in So. Cal. Their crew chief, Rene, was terrific. Every time I walked around the house with a critical eye he would come over and make sure I was pleased with the work, and he explained every step of what they were doing and why. I see at least three challenges with every roof: Incomprehensible architectural design, lousy carpentry, and homeowners that think they know everything. Like me. Rene handled all three challenges easily.Lastly, they cleaned up and didn't break a thing. Anybody that shows up when they promised, does the work quickly, nobody does a swan dive, and best of all, it started raining hard within 48 hours of completion and the rain hasn't let up for most of the last 48 hours....and the roof doesn't leak! You can't ask for better workmanship than that.GreatWay Roofing did a great job. As Rene said good-bye, I told him I hope to never see him again! The entire team was great. I highly recommend GreatWay Roofing.
